ABIGAIL LAZKOZ (Bilbao, 1971)
WORKS I EXHIBITIONS I CV I NEWS & PRESS

With simple lines combined with the monumental scale of her murals, Lazkoz's work confronts socioeconomic and political realities, as well as contemporary gender rolls and behaviours. Her clean and clear drawing technique, in black and white, reflects the intention of the artist to create a "frugal language" and to represent a direct means of communication.
