NAIA DEL CASTILLO creates series of objects and clothing and then reproduces them through photography. The images that emerge depict a world that is silent, feminine, and symbolic. Her work leads us to introspection and to a questioning of the most quotidian events and artefacts.

This year, she will participate in the exhibit "Twelve artists in the Prado Museum", Madrid. Also, she has shown individually in the Galeria Dels Àngels (2006, 2003, 2001), De Santos Gallery, Texas (2005), galería Distrito 4, Madrid (2005), Sala Alcalá 31, Madrid (2004) y Museo ARTIUM, Vitoria (2004). Among other acknowledgements, she was awarded first prize for the best exhibition in the festival off PHOTO ESPAÑA 2005.
