JAIME PITARCH (Barcelona, 1963)
WORKS I EXHIBITIONS I CV I NEWS & PRESS

In his work, Jaime Pitarch uses photography, video, sculpture, drawing and installation. The underlying thread that appears throughout his work in the last years has been his obsession with order, seen as a classification system rather than a desire to control reality. Pitarch explores the possibility of tying the order of the "physical things" with other more abstract orders (political, economic, etc.) and his object-installations review the way in which these "physical things" can be echoes of a reality that does not “fit” and which disorients/disconcerts us.
